Guard locking principle

closed-circuit current (power to unlock): In a safety guard with guard locking according to the closed-circuit current principle, the guard is locked by spring force until the guard locking solenoid is supplied with current. The guard is unlocked by means of magnetic force. This is also referred to as mechanical guard locking.

Guard locking for process protection

The safety switch meets the requirements for interlocking devices with guard locking for process protection. It has no safety monitoring of the guard locking.

LED indicator

The LED indicator illuminates when voltage is applied to the guard locking solenoid.

Auxiliary release with triangular wedge

The auxiliary release allows access to the machine in the event of a malfunction, e.g. a power failure. It is unlocked using a tool or a key. The auxiliary release must be secured against misuse (sealing, laking).

Scope of delivery

Triangular key for manual release is included in the scope of delivery.
