EUCHNER at Logimat 2022 trade show: Hall 5, Booth F41
Smooth production flows with a focus on minimizing downtimes and costs and maximizing operational safety are top priorities in manufacturing. The industrial safety engineering systems from Euchner are the ideal solutions for achieving this. At Logimat 2022, the company is presenting its latest innovations to the logistics industry: the successful MGB2 Modular safety door system for EtherCAT P and the new CKS2 safe key system. Euchner is also showcasing its comprehensive product portfolio for the intralogistics industry, which ranges from hand-held pendant stations, limit switches and electronic access control systems through to smart solutions for securing and monitoring guards and protective devices. Visitors to the industry exhibition can also find out about the engineering services provided by Euchner Safety Services and the new training courses available from the Euchner Academy.
MGB2 Modular – EtherCAT P with FSoE
All the functions of the proven MGB2 Modular safety door system are now available for EtherCAT P with FSoE too. This development confirms Euchner’s claim to a pioneering role in the sector of safety engineering for bus systems. The comprehensive diagnostic functions in the form of EtherCAT messages and the integrated web server provide a fast and detailed overview of the device status. Setting the parameters is easy, so even replacing the module for servicing is a simple task taking no more than a few minutes. The Multifunctional Gate Box MGB provides users with a highly functional safety door system with guard locking that not only meets the highest safety standard up to PLe, but also allows for a high level of personalization, with countless variants and functions, as well as a variety of networking options and possibilities for Industry 4.0 applications.
CKS2 – lockout and starting with a single system
The new CKS2 system is the perfect choice when it comes to safe starting or stopping of dangerous machine movements independently of the installed safeguards. In combination with highly coded, transponder-based keys, the CKS2 key adapter forms a safe system that meets the highest safety requirements for machine and installation lockout and starting. When combined with the Euchner IO-Link Gateways, the integral evaluation electronics in the compact CKS2 system provides comprehensive diagnostic and communication functions for users. Proven transponder technology and the use of keys with a high coding level ensure maximum safety. Developed as a FlexFunction device, the CKS2 system can operate as a lockout system, trapped key system or authorization system depending on the key version. The CKS2 is also available as a submodule for the successful MGB2 door locking system. It is perfect for use in fully automated logistics systems or complete turnkey installations.
