Guard locking principle

Operating current (power to lock): In the case of a safety guard with guard locking according to the open-circuit current principle, the safety guard is locked until the power supply to the guard locking solenoid is break-before-make. The guard is unlocked by spring force. This is also referred to as electrical guard locking.

LED indicator

The switch has two freely assignable LED indicators (red and green).

Escape release

Used in the event of danger to unlock the guard locking without tools from the danger area. Unblocking and restoring readiness for operation is only possible with a corresponding key (included in the scope of delivery).

Auxiliary release

The auxiliary release on the front allows access to the machine in the event of a malfunction, e.g. a power failure. It is unlocked using a tool or a key. The auxiliary release must be secured against misuse (sealing, laking).
