The CES-FD-AS from EUCHNER is a small and compact field evaluation unit for connecting external CES read heads and CKS Electronic-Key adapters and can be modeled directly on the ASi bus.
CES-FD is a small and compact field evaluation unit for connecting CKS Electronic-Key adapters or CES read heads.
The transponder data is read from the Electronic-Key adapter / read head when the key is inserted or the actuator inserted. If the connected field evaluation unit recognizes the transponder data of the last Electronic-Key/actuator taught, a valid code sequence is transmitted to the AS-i safety monitor.
If a CKS Electronic-Key adapter is used, a query is made as to whether a valid key is present. If the key is removed, it is not possible to start dangerous machine movements, and the system is also used for monitoring movable guards or moving machine parts where space is limited.
The CES-A-LMN-SC read head with M8 thread has small dimensions and can be connected directly to the field evaluation unit. The dates are evaluated directly in the field, so no space is required in the control cabinet.
The CES-FD evaluation unit has two LED indicators for the status display, which ensure fast diagnostics. In addition, the field evaluation unit enables the read head's limit range to be displayed. This allows any misalignment of the CES read head or actuator to be detected and rectified in good time.
The small design of the housing of the CES-FD field evaluation unit and the high degree of protection IP 67 enable use in very harsh environments and space-saving mounting; assembly in the field.
