The simplest form of linking between machines begins with mounting a rod loader magazine on a turning machine or attaching a workpiece loading station on a machining center with an industrial robot, for example. Linked machines can also comprise entire machine lines in which the individual machining stations are interconnected with an automated workpiece logistics system. It is important here to check the degree of design modification at each supply and transfer point and to determine whether the existing safety concept is still sufficient.
We help our customers make these decisions based on our long-standing experience. We help them make the right decisions in compliance with standards and laws. A consultation process is concluded with a document recording the decision-making process and its result.
