LED indicator

The LED indicator illuminates red when the safety door is closed or closed and guard locked. The LED indicator illuminates green when the safety door is open or closed. It goes out when the safety door is locked.

Guard locking principle

Operating current (power to lock): In the case of a safety guard with guard locking according to the open-circuit current principle, the safety guard is locked until the power supply to the guard locking solenoid is break-before-make. The guard is unlocked by spring force. This is also referred to as electrical guard locking.

Auxiliary release

The auxiliary release on the front allows access to the machine in the event of a malfunction, e.g. a power failure. It is unlocked using a tool or a key. The auxiliary release must be secured against misuse (sealing, laking).
